Refund Policy

  • All custom-made items are final sale.
    Custom pieces are built specifically to the client’s request and are not eligible for return or refund.

  • Half of the full payment is required before work begins on all custom orders.
    This secures materials, time, and placement in the build queue.

  • No refunds will be issued for preference changes.
    This includes changes in style, color, fit, or overall design after the build has started or been completed. Remember, you approved it.

  • Design approval is required prior to production.
    Once a design is approved, the item will be built exactly as agreed.

  • Handmade characteristics are not defects.
    Natural variations in leather, stitching, dye, and finish are part of the craftsmanship and are not grounds for refund.

  • Workmanship Guarantee:
    If a product has a structural defect or functional issue due to workmanship, I will first attempt to repair or correct the issue, and I am glad to do so.

  • Refunds for Defects (Limited):
    If a structural defect cannot be repaired, a refund may be issued at my discretion.

  • No refunds for normal wear and tear.
    This includes scratches, patina, softening of leather, or changes from regular use.

  • No refunds for misuse or improper care.
    Damage caused by water exposure, neglect, or improper handling is not covered.

  • Non-custom (standard) items:
    Returns may be considered on a case-by-case basis if the item is unused and in original condition.

  • This is your reminder that you agreed to all this with your signature...just sayin.

    Additional Terms & Conditions

  • By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all policies listed above.

  • All sales are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

  • Custom Work Agreement:
    The customer confirms that all design details, specifications, and requests have been reviewed and approved prior to production. The finished product will reflect the agreed-upon design.

  • Limitation of Liability:
    Laird’s Leather Lair is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use any product.

  • Product Use Responsibility:
    The customer assumes all responsibility for the use of the product. All items are sold as functional or decorative goods and are used at the customer’s discretion.

  • No Guarantee of Fit or Preference Satisfaction:
    While every effort is made to meet expectations, satisfaction based on personal preference, interpretation, or third-party opinion is not guaranteed.

  • Repair Determination:
    Any determination regarding defects, repairs, or eligibility for refund will be made solely at the discretion of Laird’s Leather Lair.

  • Chargebacks & Payment Disputes:
    By completing a purchase, the customer agrees not to initiate a chargeback without first contacting Laird’s Leather Lair to resolve the issue. Unauthorized chargebacks may be contested.

  • Right to Refuse Service:
    Laird’s Leather Lair reserves the right to refuse service or cancel an order at any time for any reason.
