Shipping Policy

Processing Time
Each item from Laird’s Leather Lair is handcrafted to order. Please allow 7–14 business days for production before your item ships. This is a one man operation, and there are customers before you. I take care and pride with each item I craft, and the person before you and after you is just as important. Ready-to-ship items typically leave our studio within 2–3 business days. During high-volume periods, production may take longer, but we promise that every piece receives myfull attention and care.
Shipping Policy - the basics
Shipping Rates & Carriers
We offer flat-rate shipping within the United States via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, depending on destination and size.

Domestic (U.S.) Orders: Flat rate of $10.00 per order.

Orders over $150: Free shipping within the U.S.

International Shipping: Available to select countries at carrier-calculated rates. Customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes.
What to include in the Shipping Policy
Delivery Times
Domestic orders typically arrive within 3–5 business days after shipping. International delivery times vary based on destination and customs processing.
Tracking Information
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. Please allow 24–48 hours for the carrier to update tracking details.
Lost or Damaged Packages
We are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage once an item leaves Laird's Leather Lair. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and item so we can assist with a claim through the carrier.
Incorrect Address
Please ensure your shipping address is correct before checkout. Laird’s Leather Lair is not responsible for packages sent to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
Local Pickup (Optional)
If you are located in the Houston or Katy, Texas area, we offer free local pickup by appointment. Select “Local Pickup” at checkout, and we’ll contact you to arrange a convenient time.
